This is not a kitchen counter size mill: It weighs approximately 30Kg and stands about 530mm High.
The size of the handle and ring gear make it easy to mill the hardest of maize, nuts, wheat and beans.
Place a sieve under the outlet to separate course from fine mill.
Ideal for off-grid use, to mill mielies or any other grain for the Kitchen or the Coop
1 operator should be able to mill 10-15kg of Dry Millie (Maize) seeds per hour (Kibble/Chicken feed size)
To get a finer pap/porridge consistency adjust the Mill Plate.
Productivity will be exponentially higher given an experienced operator OR two operators.
Production figures quoted are an estimate as much depends on the physical ability/age of the operator.
Made from cast iron, and if you are ingenious you will be able to motorise the Afrimill No1, however it must not run at a higher RPM than if turned by hand.
Pro tip: Ensure that once you have set the fine' ss of the particular milled size you want, remember to tighten the LOCKNUT to ensure that the vibration of the mill does not work it loose.
